Ventura County Sheriff’s Department – Incident Press Release
Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Street Team received information that Michael Allen was involved in narcotics sales. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Gang Unit verified Allen was actively selling methamphetamine and heroin to drug users in Ventura County. During the investigation, detectives obtained a search warrant for Allen’s person, vehicles and residence.
On May 20, 2021, Deputies observed Allen in a vehicle driven by Sally Ann Alcantar in the City of Ventura. Allen was stopped and detained pursuant to the search warrant. A search of Allen’s person yielded a large amount of cash suspected to be profit from drug sales. Alcantar was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
A search warrant was later conducted at his residence located in the 700 block of North Olive Street. Detectives seized methamphetamine, hydrocodone pills, concentrated cannabis, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, suboxone, oxymorphone and several thousand dollars of suspected drug proceeds. The quantities of the drugs and paraphernalia were consistent with a drugs sales operation.
