VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Ronald Kenneth Rosen (DOB 07/15/57), of Simi Valley, was arrested and charged with committing numerous felonies alleged to have occurred from 2016 through 2022. The complaint charges Rosen with one count of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) while being a registered sex offender, and seven counts of possessing CSAM with the intent to distribute these materials.
This case was investigated by the District Attorney’s Office Bureau of Investigation (BOI), the Southern California High Tech Task Force, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Simi Valley Police Department. Rosen was arraigned today and pled not guilty to the charges. The case is set for an early disposition conference on April 22, 2022 and a preliminary hearing on April 28, 2022 in courtroom 12 of the Ventura County Superior Court. Rosen is currently in custody with bail set at $100,000.
