Amazon is updating it’s RING and ECHO devices with a new software that will share your details with neighboring WiFi systems in a program called SIDEWALK. This is part of a long term plan to know your location without you enabling location services. It links all homes together and allows pin point location of technology devices. I would completely get rid of the Echo due to privacy if you haven’t already. RING is a safety device – but big tech now taking advantage of that unit in your home.
