The San Diego Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating homicide suspect, Forrest Robert Brantley. Brantley is believed to be in the San Diego or Ventura County area.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. on November 28, 2019, the San Diego Police Department Communications Center received a call of an injured man in the 3100 block of Sports Arena Boulevard. When the officers arrived, they found a man with significant trauma to his neck. The man was transported to the hospital, but unfortunately did not survive his injuries.
Homicide investigators were called to the scene and are handling the investigation. The investigation revealed the victim had an altercation with the suspect, identified as 38 year-old Forrest Robert Brantley. At some point in the altercation, Brantley used a weapon to cause traumatic injuries to the victim’s neck area. Brantley was last seen walking away from the scene.
Brantley is described as a 38 year-old white male with brown hair and blue eyes (see photos below). Brantley is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Please call 9-1-1 if he is seen. Brantley is believed to be in the San Diego County or Ventura County area. He is wanted for this murder investigation and for parole violation.
