Santa Paula Police Department – Incident Press Release
On Tuesday January 12th, 2021 at approximately 09:53 pm, the Santa Paula Police Dispatch Center received a 911 call regarding a shooting victim. The Santa Paula Police Department, Ventura County Fire Department and AMR responded to the location. Upon arrival, SPPD officers contacted one adult male subject who advised his friend had suffered a gunshot wound. The victim was quickly located by officers and was treated by emergency personnel on scene. The victim was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
