Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On the evening of October 21, 2020, SVPD Patrol Officers spotted a vehicle in the 1100 block of E Los Angeles Ave, in connection with a radio call of a Weapon in Progress. They stopped the vehicle and detained two male suspects. The investigation and subsequent search located a stolen loaded handgun, narcotics, and a large amount of cash.
Joshua Nation, 39 years old, from Thousand Oaks, and Samuel Garcia, 39 years old, from Simi Valley, were arrested for various felony weapon and narcotics violations. They were booked at Ventura County Jail.
