Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 8/28/19 at approximately 11:30 PM a Hit and Run collision occurred in the area of Lost Canyon Dr. and Copperstone Lane. The collision involved a single vehicle which struck several fixed objects and then ran off the road. The investigation revealed that the two occupants of the vehicle fled into the hills south of the location.
Today, the driver of the vehicle was contacted and it was found that he sustained significant injuries as a result of the collison. During interviews with the driver, identified as Eric Garcia (23 yrs.) it was learned that the whereabouts of the second occupant are unknown. The Police Department is seeking the publics help in identifying and/or locating the second subject. Garcia only knows the subject as “Brandon”. Due to Garcia’s medical condition, further discription of “Brandon” is unknown. “Brandon” in not the subject of any criminal investigation. We are simply trying to locate him and make sure he is safe.
