    Simi Valley Police Department seek assistance to identify child annoyance suspect

    Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On September 18, 2019 at approximately 2:13 PM a Hispanic male suspect driving a late model blue Toyota Camry or similar pulled up to a group of 5 elementary school students walking home from Madera Elementary located at 250 Royal Ave. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle told the group of juveniles to get in the car. The children screamed and ran back to the school and reported the incident to school staff. The suspect made a U-turn and fled the area.

    The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult in his mid-30’s, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a black and white striped shirt.

    Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Simi Valley Police Department at (805) 583-6950.

    The Simi Valley Police Department strongly encourages all parents and guardians to educate their children on “stranger danger” and to immediately report suspicious incidents to the police or a responsible adult.
