Oxnard, CA – (December 18, 2019) –The St. John’s Healthcare Foundation recently received a $10K donation from the Oxnard Auto Center (OACA). This generous donation will go towards supporting the expansion of the Emergency Department (ED) at St. John’s Regional Medical Center (SJRMC).
“We appreciate the Oxnard Auto Center for their continued support and contributions,” said Darren Lee, President and CEO of St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital. “It is inspiring to see local businesses come together for the betterment of the community.”
The ED at SJRMC is the busiest in Ventura County. Thanks to the support of the community, it will double in size to help patient flow, increase patient capacity, and improve access to care. The ED expansion is projected to be completed in late 2020 and will position us to continue providing the community with excellent care for generations to come.
“Our long-term relationship with St. John’s Regional Medical Center is one where we can see the direct benefits in our community,” said Steve Wallace, president of the Oxnard Auto Center Association. “They are a world-class organization and perform such a vital role. Nothing is nobler than serving others and saving lives, and we are fortunate to play a small part in their good works.”
The OACA has long been a supporter of SJRMC’s Emergency Department. Collectively, they have presented SJRMC with a donation for the past fifteen years.
