    Narrative:

    On October 19, 2021, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies investigated a child crime involving a 13- year-old female. During the investigation, the victim disclosed Hernandez inappropriately touched her body several times. In addition, deputies learned of another possible victim who was 15 years old.

    Ventura County Sheriff’s Office East County Major Crimes/Sexual Assault Unit assisted with the investigation and interviewed the 15-year-old. The victim disclosed she was also inappropriately touched by Hernandez several times when she was 13 years old.

    During the investigation, significant evidence was discovered. Hernandez was arrested for two counts of Penal Code Section 288.5(a) – Continuous Sexual Abuse and two counts of PC 288(a)- Lewd Act Upon a Child. Hernandez was booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility.

    The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office filed two counts of PC 288(a) and one count of PC 288.5(a) against Hernandez for the assaults upon these young girls. Hernandez remains in custody and his bail has been set at $500,000.00. He is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on November 4, 2021.
