LOS ANGELES (CNS)—A pandemic-shortened 2020 football schedule for the University of Southern California (USC) was announced Oct. 3, featuring seven games against Pac-12 conference opponents.
The Trojans will play all five of the other schools in the South Division, including a Nov. 7 home game against Arizona State to kick off the season.
That game will start at 9 a.m.—the earliest kickoff time for a Trojans home game since at least the early 1950s, when complete records are available. A home contest against Loyola in the 1891 season began at 9:30 a.m.
The Trojans will host Washington State, a North Division foe, on Dec. 4, in a Friday night game at the Coliseum.
USC will battle its crosstown rival University of California–Los Angeles (UCLA) at the Rose Bowl on Dec. 12, tying the latest date that the teams have met (1942).
