We are excited to introduce to you our new vice president of Ventura County Ministries, Clayton Coates. He will also serve as director of the Ventura County Rescue Mission beginning next week.
John Saltee announced his retirement earlier this year after nine years as the Mission’s director.
Clayton most recently worked for Morgan Stanley in the Wealth Management field after nearly 25 years as a pastor. He is also the president and co-founder of R1:16 Ministries, a nonprofit organization that aims to encourage people with the Gospel through inspirational videos, blogs, tools, and speaking events. Clayton has been married to his wife, Allison, for 19 years, and they have six children, ages 5 to 17.
“Clayton brings years of ministry experience along with strong leadership skills and a heart for serving the needy,” said Gary Gray, president and CEO of the Rescue Mission Alliance. “I’m excited to welcome Clayton to our organization and look forward to working with him to strengthen and expand our programs and services in Ventura County.”
Check your inbox on Friday, May 8, for your May e-news. It will feature a column from Clayton, as well as the inspirational client stories you look forward to each month.
