News Release
“This week’s reopening marks an important milestone as we proudly welcome everyone back for in-person service,” said Ventura City Manager Alex D. McIntyre. “I am thankful for our essential workers and staff who adapted quickly throughout the pandemic to serve the community with dedication, commitment, and a spirt of resiliency.”
Many of Ventura’s services continue to be available online through the City’s website. Permit applications and development projects must be submitted online at www.CityofVentura.ca.gov/PermitServices.
Additionally, in-person public meetings are anticipated to resume with the City Council meeting on March 21. To view upcoming agendas and participation instructions for public meetings, visit www.CityofVentura.ca.gov/AgendaCenter.
Ventura City Hall is located at 501 Poli Street and will be open during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday and every other Friday. Hours of operation vary at each location. For details, visit www.CityofVentura.ca.gov.
The City of Ventura is committed to maintaining the health and safety of the public and will continue to follow public health orders and guidance. Patrons and vendors visiting City facilities are encouraged to wear masks and maintain physical distancing at shared counters and waiting areas.
Although masking requirements have been lifted in most circumstances, regardless of vaccination status, the California Department of Public Health strongly recommends individuals to continue to wear masks, particularly within six feet of others. To find a vaccine near you, visit www.VenturaCountyRecovers.org.
