    Ventura Teens arrested for alleged Purse Snatching

    Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On March 14th at 4:47 Am, the Ventura Police Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a theft of a purse at a business in the 6100 block of Telegraph Road. The victim’s purse was stolen while at the business, and the victim initially chased the suspect but was unable to catch him.

    Responding officers checked the area and located the suspects in a nearby neighborhood. The victim’s stolen property was recovered and the male juvenile suspect was arrested for the theft. The female juvenile who was with the theft suspect was also detained. During the investigation, she was uncooperative and attacked and kicked the officers. She was arrested for violently resisting the officers. No one was injured during this incident.

    Suspect(s): #1) Hispanic Male Juvenile, 15 years    #2) Hispanic Female Juvenile, 15 years
