You’re invited to join us for a virtual wine tasting series we will be launching this year! It’s no secret that President and Mrs. Reagan enjoyed California wines and served many of them in the White House. We have assembled an exciting series available just for supporters of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute. Beginning in February, Michelle Powers Keegan, Chief Development Officer, will be hosting a virtual discussion each month through May with winemakers from four legendary California wineries several of which were served in the White House for the first time during the Reagan Presidency. |

Join us for our very first Virtual President’s Day Celebration. Though we are not able to come together in person, the Reagan Library will proceed with a virtual program featuring a special guest speaker, wonderful musical entertainment, trivia by a presidential re-enactor, a special tribute to frontline workers, and arts and crafts activities for everyone. Our special guest speaker, Steve Chealander, was one of President Reagan’s Military Aides. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1964. During his military career, Steve worked as a fighter pilot, instructor pilot and flight examiner in the T-38, F4, F5 and the F16. Steve was selected to the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in 1981 and flew with the demonstration team through 1985.
“MESSAGES OF GRATITUDE: HONORING OUR HEROES”
Nurses. Doctors. Grocery store employees. Delivery drivers. Warehouse workers. First responders. 211 operators. Food bank volunteers. There are so many people who are on the frontlines and they continue to help keep our community safe and the world running.
To honor and celebrate their ongoing sacrifice, join us to express your appreciation and gratitude by sending us a photo of your hero to be included at the end of our program at [email protected], along with their name, age, and company by Friday, February 5, 2021. |

Please join us for a virtual conversation with one of the world’s bestselling authors and trusted storytellers, James Patterson, for his brand-new book, Walk in My Combat Boots (Publish Date: February 8, 2021). Joining us in conversation is the book’s co-author, First Sergeant Matt Eversmann whose story of survival during a combat in Mogadishu in 1993 is told in the epic film, Black Hawk Down. This event will be streamed on our YouTube channel, and pre-signed copies of his book can be purchased on our website.
With over 150 million copies of his book in print, and over 180 titles printed, James Patterson recently called Walk in My Combat Boots the most important book of his career. The book is a powerful collection, crafted from hundreds of original interviews which are the brutally honest stories usually only shared amongst comrades in arms. Here, in the voices of the men and women who’ve fought overseas from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan, is a rare eye-opening look into what wearing the uniform, fighting in combat, losing friends and coming home is really like. |
