- April 25, see 2014 – The League of Women Voters of Ventura County, a nonpartisan political organization, is holding a candidates forum for candidates running in in the 44th Assembly District open primary election on June 3rd. The 44th District covers Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, and portions of Oxnard and Simi Valley. The forum will be held Friday,April 25, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Camarillo City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, Camarillo. Members of the public are invited to attend free of charge.
