The November 2016 election introduced us to cyberattacks on our voting systems, using “bots” and “fake news,” hurting our ability to discuss difficult issues, civilly. Are we powerless to deal with these disruptions?

Come join us and hear about some of the voting issues we face: cyberattacks, Russian (or other) “bots,” toxic talk on Twitter, Facebook and other social media, voting restrictions, and more.

Our guest speakers:

Dr. Tim Allison, JD, Adjunct Professor of Political Science, California State University, Channel Islands, specializes in Constitutional law, civil rights, voting rights in our society.
